Customer Questions & Answers

Can't find the answer you need? Ask a Question
How easy is it to cut these shower tiles? I want to be able to install it in a shower stall wall-to-wall and the measurements are 42 in by 42 in?
- Art A.

Although these are commercial grade, sturdy tiles, you can cut them using either a tile cutter, a chop saw with a very fine blade or simply by using a utility knife with a fresh blade. (You'll need to score the tile once or twice before cutting through it if you do decide to use the utility knife.) Once the tile is cut it will not deteriorate or break down functionally. (However, you will lose the ability to interlock the side of the tile that is cut with any other tiles.)

We have a grand opening this week! How quickly can you ship these tiles out to us?
- Maria M.

Congrats and no problem! We can turn these drainage shower tiles around fast and get them out the door as quickly as the same day, based on what time you order is placed. Please reach out to us to ensure we get this shipped for you ASAP.

Do the female edges connect to the pointy, male teeth and vice versa?
- Stephan J.

Exactly.  Female tiles connect to male edges and male tiles connect to female edges. (Also, each corner only needs one corner piece, not two.)

How do I know how many Edge ramps I need if I'm putting them along a rectangular layout?
- Kevin C.

1 edge piece is needed per tile along the perimeter. For example, if you have a 4 ft by 6 ft layout, you would need 4 plus 6 (= 10) male edges and then 4 plus 6 (= 10 again) female hedges. Thus of the 20 tiles along the perimeter, half would be male and half would be female. Of the male edges, you would need 2 of them to be corners and of the 10 female edges you would also need 2 of them to be corners. Therefore you would have 8 male edges, 2 male corners, 8 female edges, and 2 female corners. Should you have ANY questions or need any help figuring out edging please reach out to us and we'll be happy to assist you!

Can these drainage tiles be used in an indoor/outdoor shower area?
- Arion S.

Absolutely!  These heavy duty, all weather drainage shower tiles can be used both indoors as well as outside and still hold up well to harsh conditions including constant UV exposure, rain, snow, salts and just about anything else without deteriorating.

Do these pool tiles sink to the bottom pool? We have a rehab facility and want to make sure that they're not going to be floating around.
- Frank F.

These drainage tiles will not float and will indeed sink to the bottom of the pool. However, to ensure that they do not slide around on the bottom of the pool, you should either cover an area wall-to-wall where the tiles don't have anywhere to scoot around or anchor them in place.
